The Jersey Shore APA offers so much more than just a weekly night out with your friends. If you have ever wondered what happens after playoffs, or what can you win, or what you can take part in outside of league night, read below.
The World Pool Championships
The World Pool Championships
The culmination of weekly APA League play is the 8-Ball World Championship and 9-Ball World Championship, which make up the APA World Pool Championships, held at the Westgate Las Vegas in August. The Lee County APA currently qualifies two 8 Ball teams, and one 9 Ball team through a tournament held annualy.
Teams that win the "World Qualifier Tournament" will receive hotel accommodations and airfare to Las Vegas to participate.
The APA World Pool Championships, is by far the best pool event in the world. With over 400 Diamond pool tables and a prize fund larger than any other league in the world!
In 2024, the APA will pay out $1,305,840!!!

The Poolplayer Championships
The Poolplayer Championships is an event also held at the Westgate in Las Vegas, however this is the for the Singles and Doubles Team events, and takes place in April/May every year.
There are multiple ways to qualify for these events, some of which also include airfare and hotel stay. "Singles Boards" and Regional tournaments take place throughout the year, as well as Double's Qualifier Tournaments.

We hold one Jack & Jill Doubles tournament per year. The winners will qualify for the Jack & Jill Championship in Las Vegas, and assistance for airfare and hotel accommodations are included!
To be eligible to play in this tournament, both players will have to be on an active 8-Ball Team

We hold one Masters tournament per year. The winners will qualify for the Masters Championship in Las Vegas, and assistance for airfare and hotel accommodations are included!
To be eligible to play in this tournament, both players will have to be on an active 8 or 9-Ball Team

We hold one 9-Ball Doubles tournament per year. The winners will qualify for the 9-Ball Doubles Championship in Las Vegas, and assistance for airfare and hotel accommodations are included!

We hold one Captains tournament per year. The winners will qualify for the Captains Championship in Las Vegas, and assistance for airfare and hotel accommodations are included!
